    Prior experience as a spiritual director is preferred but not required. However, applicants should have a strong personal experience of prayer and discernment, ideally through the Spiritual Exercises.

    Each module takes place within a 5-day Silent Ignatian Retreat, combining:

  • Do I need to attend both modules?

    Yes, completing both Module 1 and Module 2 is necessary for full formation in the ministry of directing the Spiritual Exercises.

  • Can I attend only Module 2 if I have previous training?

    No, participation in Module 1 is required before continuing to Module 2 to ensure continuity in training.
